María José Llergo

María José Llergo (Pozoblanco, 1994) is an artist recognized for her ability to naturally connect tradition and avant-garde within the most universal expression of flamenco, making it accessible to all kinds of audiences. Her multidisciplinary nature—she sings, composes, and plays various instruments—has led to constant growth since she emerged in 2018 with “Niña de las dunas”.

She is currently promoting “Ultrabelleza”, her latest album. A multifaceted work that reflects both the ideal world envisioned by the artist—more equal and just—and a safe haven for those who feel they do not fit within traditional social standards.
