Bebe

Bebe is a singer and actress that began her career as a solo artist, although she has collaborated with different bands from the beginning. In 2004, she released her first album, ‘Pafuera telarañas’, with Carlos Jean as producer. Along with her first record came three major hits: ‘Malo’, ‘Ella’, and ‘Siempre me quedará’, which brought her international fame. Her lyrics are always full of calls for social justice and the fight for feminism, which have made her a point of reference for female empowerment in Spain, as well as for other women in the music industry. After dedicating herself to acting for a time, she returned in 2009 with her first musical work entitled ‘Y…’. After collaborating with Los Amaya, Tontxu, Chambao, Luis Pastor, and Los Delinqüentes, and co-writing together with Hernán Zin and Carlos Jean on ‘Cesar debe morir’ (the central song of the documentary directed by Hernán), she released her first album ‘Cambio de piel’ (2015). Here we see a change in the singer, much more personal and full of emotion. In 2018, she collaborated with Costa to create the successful ‘Ficción’, and with Laura Pausini on her song ‘Verdades a Medias’ (2020). Bebe closed out her latest tour after several long years of concerts that took her through Russia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, Mexico, and Spain. In 2021, she presented ‘Libertad’, a new series and film she starred in, playing the role of ‘La Llanera’. Bebe is one of Spain’s most important singer-songwriters, and is currently in the process of writing more songs.
